Because of lots of requests and some free
time, I rewrote Plug And Steal.
Although a user might not see drastic changes, all I can say that
it has been completely rewritten and no third party software are
being used in this version!
Changes:
c++ written password extractor, in the
previous version I used a third party extractor (new)
c# main class which runs the extractor and deals with saving the
file to the usb (new)
batch file which runs c# and opens the usb drive when executed
(almost unchanged)
autorun file which deals with the actions when the usb is plugged
in. (unchanged)
The first three are packed in one file called msn.exe
The passwords are now in a hidden folder called PAS, the
account name is the filename, the password will be in it. This
fixes the problem in version 1, where the password file was being
overwritten.
The anti-viruses were flagging the third party password extractor as
a virus (which really isn't), therefore I had to rewrite that,
let's hope this will fix it, I've tested it with kaspersky and
no alerts whatsoever, let me know how it works with other
anti-viruses.
Instructions to get the Passwords
1) Download the zip file
2) Extract it in your usb drive, in the root (not in a folder in your usb)
3) Safely remove your usb
4) Connect the usb in someones computer
5) Open the usb folder by double clicking on the usbs icon from the
My Computer
Congrats, now you have the passwords!
To view the passwords file,
1) Connect the usb DONT OPEN
IT!
2) Right click on the usb devices icon from My Computer
3) Choose open
4) From the view settings, enable View hidden files
5) Open the hidden folder called "PAS" in the usb
6) Open the text file you want...
Voila, you got the passwords...
To make my conscious happy, every once in a while (on average
1 over 10 uses), a message box will popup and inform the user that
you are stealing his/her passwords! To see this, run it on your pc
for around 10 times...
Files are now being hosted on Rapidshare, I might add them on other filesharing systems later on.

pretty cool. Worked fine for me cant get much easyer .I have to play with this more but i dont thing the auto load works. But self extract does. This is a differnt hack but really cool.

what am i doing wrong?
i download the file, drag it into my usb, extract it, pull it out of my comp, plug it into another, go to my computer, double click on the usb, and then remove it, plug it into my comp., right click on the usb and hit open and all it shows is the folder that i extracted and the folder that holds the compressed files. what am i missing?

The extracted files should not be in a folder, put them in the root of the usb after extraction.

Select everything inside the folder plugandsteal, right click, cut, now double click on ur usb icon, wait until the usb drive open, right click, paste. Don't paste the files in a folder inside ur usb, they have to be directly inside the usb... I can't elaborate any further, good luck

Glad you like it! the bla.jpg is an empty file, i added it so that the autorun of the usb will think their are images in it and will fill the window. (its a small detail, u can remove it, but its more stealth like this)

Okay well im not sure if this is the only way to do it but to change you usb back to its normal icon status you have to format it, and by format i mean copying ur stuff out of it then formating it right click > format > done back to normal
this program works very well but the target computer needs to really be specific

Simply because it's accessing windows files. Usually viruses access them and send the info over the internet to someone else (which i can do easily if i wanted, but thats not ethical). Normal programs never need to access these files and therefore if a program tries to even get close to them the antivirus alarm goes on... and there is no other way of getting the passwords, i need to access those resource files which are ringing the alarm. That's the reason im not releasing the code because by adding just a few lines to it any kid can cause a big problem! Imagine this thing spreading like a trojan and it emails u back the passwords... that wouldn't be nice and all it takes to do that is just add around 10 lines to this code...
